Open Bed Space Between Towing Trips

I can not say enough good things about ETrailer and how easy it is to find instructions and videos on how to install their items. I was notified that I am one of the first to order this product and I astonished by this.
The install was very straight forward and the hardest part was getting the Gooseneck hitch lined up in the correct holes. I would have thought having a tractor with a front loader bucket would have made it a lot easier. I am not sure about that. But I will say the alignment process was a great test for the Marriage, and it survived.
Here are a couple things I did to make the alignment process easier. 1. I cleaned the mating surface on my camper; there was over spray of some kind of rubber substance that made the tight fit even tighter. 2. I applied a thin coat of grease on the hitch mount and hitch. It slid right in place enough to get a couple bolts started and we were done in just a few minutes later.
My set up was different than most since I have a factory installed goose ball set up and do not have the puck system. Naomi was very patient and she was able to get the exact product I needed. THANKS Namoi!
I had an issue getting the hitch on the ball, but that was my fault and again videos were very helpful!
The ONLY con so far is I have to climb into the bed of my truck to attach the safety chains to the hitch bars. I wished there was a better way to do that.

Thanks for your review and for the kind words! I'm happy we were able to get you taken care of and I sent your review to Naomi! What kind of camper and truck do you have? There isn't a tool to help connect the safety chains just yet so you will need to climb into the bed for the foreseeable future, but I think that's a great idea. You may be onto something there!
